HOW TO SET UP YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE

Here's how to easily set up your  custom email account on your phone's email app. Note that if you don't have an email app you can easily download one in the app store.

Generic Email Client Settings

 

These are the generic settings and should work for any email client or mobile device.

Incoming Port: 110 (or 995 with SSL enabled)
IMAPIncoming Server: imap.
Incoming Port: 143 (or 993 with SSL enabled))
SSL (Optional):Enabled or Disabled
Outgoing Server Authentication:Enabled
Outgoing Server:smtp.
Outgoing Port:587 (or 465 with SSL enabled)

Tip: If 587 is not working for the Outgoing Port, try using port 25 instead.

Double-check your email client settings.
Review your settings again for any possible typos (especially the email password).

Apple Devices

There are two ways to set up your email on Apple devices, if one doesn’t work, kindly use the other.

You will need your incoming mail server, outgoing mail server, full email address, and your email password. The default settings are listed below.

  1. Go to your Settings app.
  2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Select Add Account.
  4. Select Other.
  5. Select Add Mail Account.
  6. Fill in the following information:
    • Name: How you want your name to appear in emails (example: John Smith)
    • Email: Your full mailbox address (example: john@your-domain.com)
    • Password: Your mailbox password
    • Description: Distinguishes this email connection from others you might have set up on your Apple device.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Select IMAP.
  9. Fill in the following information:
    • Incoming Mail Server Host Name: imap.ipage.com
    • Incoming Mail Server User Name: Your full mailbox address (example: john@your-domain.com)
    • Incoming Mail Server Password: Your mailbox password
    • Outgoing Mail Server Host Name: smtp.ipage.com
    • Outgoing Mail Server User Name: Your full mailbox address (example: john@your-domain.com)
    • Outgoing Mail Server Password: Your mailbox password
  10. Select Next.
  11. Select Continue if you get a message stating that the server identity could not be verified.
  12. The email setup for your Apple Device is now be complete. You can view your messages through your device’s Mail app.

  10. Select Next.

Android devices

  1. Go to View All Applications.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Add Account.
  4. Select Email.
  5. Fill in the following information:
    • Email Address: Your full mailbox address (example: john@your-domain.com)
    • Password: Your mailbox password
  6. Select Manual Setup.
  7. Choose IMAP.
  8. Fill in the following information:
    • Username: Your full mailbox address (example: john@your-domain.com)
    • Password: Your mailbox password
    • IMAP Server (Incoming): imap.ipage.com
    • Port (Incoming): 143
    • Security Type: You can choose to enable SSL with this setting. If you choose to enable SSL, be sure to change the Port settings accordingly.
    • IMAP Path Prefix (Optional): You can simply leave this blank.
  9. Select Next.
  10. Fill in the following information:
    • SMTP Server (Outgoing): smtp.ipage.com
    • Port (Outgoing): 587
    • Security Type: You can choose to enable SSL with this setting. If you choose to enable SSL, be sure to change the Port settings accordingly.
    • Require Sign-In: We recommend having this box checked.
    • Username: Your mailbox address (example: john@your-domain.com)
    • Password: Your mailbox password
  11. Select Next.
  12. The email setup for your Android Device is now complete.

 

Method 2:
